use. The visitors could also discover how to make a weather

sea level elevation on coastal areas
Within 30 years, 6 billiards of people will live on coastal areas
and a lot of them will be threatened by the sea level rising.
A satellite like JASON 2 is very useful to predict the sea level
elevation and to evaluate the long-term consequences on environment
and human populations.

CALIPSO and urban
pollution urbaine by particles
Urban car traffic and industrial activities give an important
level of aerosol that have an effect on cloud cover and are monitored
by satellites such as CALIPSO or PARASOL. This workshop gave
an explanation about the role of the atmosphere in the Climate
machine, the role of aérosols and clouds and to discover
how important the monitoring is. |
