The first Forum International de la Météo organized by Société Météorologique de France took place in Paris at Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie.

An exhibition was dedicated to the public from October 14 to 17, 2004.

Besides the exhibition, professionals from all around the world (meteorologists, climatologists and weather presenters) gathered in a 3-day Symposium focussed on Climate Change and communicating Climate Change.
